That's a cute poem, but like Sus-Ana said I've always thought he had very dark eyes. But green eyes are still nice. Hehe.

True I wouldn't say they're bright green. I suppose she wrote it based on JK Rowling's description of him? Yet again I don't remember a description of Tom Riddle except for his good looks in the books.

^ JK mentions that Riddle has dark eyes in HBP, but she doesn't specify a colour except for the red glint.

^ Exactly. I can't imagine them any other colour. Green is out of the question, since I think Harry and Lily's eyes being green are quite significant.
Blue... I doubt it. I dunno, blue-eyed people seem happy-go-lucky to me, and I just can't imagine it.
I think dark-brown eyes suit him best.

^ I also imagine them to be brown. Brown is also the closest eye colour to red which gives the red glint in his eyes more credibility. They could as well be dark grey or green, but I doubt it.

I always imagine his eyes being greenish, yet not a specific colour. Brown could go well, especially mentioning the red glint, or a sort of hazely colour perhaps.
