My first Christian Coulson experience was as young Tom Riddle.
I was so glad that they chose the right actor, talent and face-wise for this part. Tall, dark and handsome- though I'm not sure with the "tall" bit for Christian.
I think he was just great at it--- and well who could have guessed he was 24 at the time!

Haha, Christian isn't particularly tall -> 5'9" (1m75). He played Tom Riddle well, but I don't think he looks like Tom Riddle.

Now I don't think he looks like Tom, but I think when the movie was released I probably thought he did. He did play it well though.

^ Yeah, same here. Also, since HBP my image of Tom Riddle has changed and Christian doesn't fit it at all.

I saw the 2 movies before I started reading the books, so naturally I thought "Oh yeah, he plays a good Riddle"!!! But when I read the books now, I don't picture Christian, I picture some unknown person in my head. Hard to explain, really. I'm 5'6, so I think 5'9 is quite tall!  It's taller than me, at least! |

Aw you're about the same height as my mum  Possibly! But those promotional pictures of Tom Riddle, he looks tall there. |

Possibly! But those promotional pictures of Tom Riddle, he looks tall there. I think it's the long robe that gives the impression that he's quite tall. But believe me, in real life you don't get that impression at all. |

Quite interesting, isn't it. I suppose you have to see it to believe it!
Maybe I'm confused because there are so many guys at my school taller than me (6'0, many of them) and I think anyone taller than me is really tall. I guess 5'9 isn't really that tall actually... now that I've thought about it. I think that's my dad's height, and I don't consider him that tall.

Ooh yes I do want to see him and believe. Gives us more excuse to stalk him *lol* In Cos he looks rather tall but I assumed it was because Harry was shorter than him and camera tricks making him look slightly taller. I'm a pretty short girl so 5.9 is well taller than I am |
