I have so many favorite novels that it is really hard to choose, so I'm just going to list them:

My favourite stories are mostly teenage romance... I'm a sucker for them! But I also like a few comedies.
TEEN ROMANCE
"A Trick of the Light" - Susanna Van Essen
"Girl, 15, Charming but Insane" - Sue Limb
and the sequel: "Girl, (Nearly) 16, Absolute Torture"
"Angus, Thongs and Full-Frontal Snogging" - forgotten the author's name, unfortunately.
"Feeling Sorry for Celia" - Jaclyn Moriarty
and the sequel: "Finding Cassie Crazy"
COMEDY
ANY books by the talented Australian author, Paul Jennings is worth a read, especially the "Gizmo" and "Un-" series.
"Koala Fever" - Justin D'Ath (another Aussie author! I actually emailed him (it wasn't a fake one, from his official website!) in year 8 praising his work, and he corresponded with me a couple of times. Real nice guy!)
"The Upside-Down Girl" - Justin D'Ath
OTHER
The Harry Potter series of course!
"Normie" - forgotten the author again.. will edit it when I remember!

The Lovely Bones is cool, as is The Secret History.
