In 1918 a group of British officers wait in the trenches at St Quentin, preparing to make a daring dash across No Man's Land in advance of the German offensive.
Playwright RC Sherriff used his own experiences of the front and life in the trenches to create this touching play which, although harrowing, reflects the humour and courage of the innumerable heroes who fought in the First World War.
Paul Bradley, most famous for playing Nigel in Eastenders, and Phillip Franks, made a household name by roles in The Darling Buds Of May and Heartbeat, lead the cast which also includes Pearce Quigley, David Sturzaker, Bob Barrett, Max Berendt, Alex Grimwood, Toby Kebbell, John R. Mahoney, Ifan Meredith and Guy Williams.

That's OLD! The version in London at the moment is a different (but wonderful) cast.
